Jailbreak iOS 10.0.2: PanGu Uses Some Old Findings

PanGu Jailbreak iOS 10.0.2 for iPhone 7, iPad, iPod Touch with PPHelper compatible for Mac, Windows 10 and Linux…

Within very short time, iPhone 7 and specially iOS 10.0.1 got updated to iOS 10.0.2. The new iOS update brings new feature, accurate care of security and hands performance issues.

We’ve found that iPhone 7 is new release even though it has some minor issues in features, performances and of course, it has been jailbroken by Luca Todesco. It’s different thing that Luca Todesco hasn’t released iPhone 7 jailbreak running iOS 10.0.2.

Look, nothing is complete. iOS 10.0.1 has been replaced by iOS 10.0.2 within a week that proves a lot more work have to be done on future updates. Apple won’t allow PanGu to release their jailbreak for iOS 10.0.2 or for any future firmware in the upcoming days. Therefore, Apple would do anything for preventing PanGu from developing exploits from iOS 10.0.2, iOS 10.0.3 and one for upcoming iOS 10.1 which has been released as beta yesterday.

One more thing, it seems like PanGu failed to take advantage of iOS 10.0.2 because this new update has all new features and there are a lot of beta testing features which may be easy to cover as injecting codes using various iOS 10.0.2 exploits. PanGu could utilize these new features and find out exploits to create jailbreak iOS 10.0.2 easily.

iOS 10.0.2 Jailbreak Release

Are you really serious or curious to know when jailbreak iOS 10.0.2 would be released? I’ve only one question if you’re not on iPhone 7, why have you upgraded to iOS 10.0.2 where iOS 9.3.3 jailbreak was available? It was latest and the firmware was stable enough. iOS 10.0.2 is specially for iPhone 7 Plus and other new devices which needs bunch of new updates to become stable firmware for iPhone or iPad.

As far as iOS 10.0.2 jailbreak is concern, we think, PanGu, TaiG, OverSky and of course Luca Todesco are working for creating jailbreak iOS 10.0.2. But none can give you exact date or time for any release right now. It’s something like wait and watch strategy and you can’t do anything rather than wait.

Jailbreak iOS 10.0.2 Status

PanGu 10.0.2 Jailbreak

If I talk about PanGu, they’ve released one for iOS 9.3.3 and promised to work on jailbreak iOS 10.0.2. They’ve created one for the beta version of iOS 10, however they haven’t released it for public version till the date.

We think that PanGu is developing PPHelper 10.0.2 and once they got stable update from Apple for iPhone and iPad, they’d release jailbreak iOS 10.0.2.

We’re pretty sure about this statement, however, it’s not completely depend on PanGu whether they can release jbreak for iOS 10.0.2 because Apple can patch those exploits anytime in the future.

So, just hope that PanGu 10.0.2 team release PPHelper 10.0.2 very soon before Apple patches them.

Luca Todesco iOS 10.0.2 Jailbreak

Now take Luca on the table. Luca Todesco has already uploaded a YouTube video that is on iOS 10.0.2 jailbreak which runs by iPhone 7. Yeah, Luca has already created jbreak for iPhone 7 running on the latest firmware iOS 10.0.2.

There’s another twist that Luca never releases any jbreak to public. He demonstrates jbreak for his own use or benefits and that’s it. Meanwhile, Luca installed Cydia iOS 10.0.2 successfully and Cydia 10.0.2 was working with some installation of Cydia tweaks!

OverSky and Jailbreak 10.0.2

This is another Chinese team which has demonstrated iOS 9.3.5 jailbreak on YouTube. While watching demonstration, we thought that they’d become so popular by release jbreak for iOS 10.0.2, but they failed to fulfill the demand.

However, we’re still confident that OverSky is great hope and they can release jailbreak iOS 10.0.2 anytime in the future at least they’ve capability to create one for iPhone 7.

TaiG 10.0.2 jailbreak

This is a biggest failure because they are unsuccessful team which haven’t released any untethered tool for iOS after iOS 8.4. And, iOS 10.0.2 jailbreak can be a great chance for them to work and release free untethered tool with Cydia iOS 10.0.2 to the public for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad.

Bottom Line

Finally we believe there’s nothing impossible and we expect jailbreak within two months either for iOS 10.1 which is pretty stable update and none of the above Chinese team would like to miss.

Where Luca can create exploits, other teams can also create similar so don’t loose your hope for PanGu 10.0.2 jailbreak.

If you’re not satisfied with the iPhone update iOS 10.0.2, you can now downgrade iOS 10.0.2 to iOS 9.3.3 and jailbreak it using Prometheus. You can ask details in the comment section…
